- Exhibition: “ARMENIA – Footprints of a Civilisation”,  in Venice - Italy The exhibition, designed by the architect Torsello, takes place at Correr Museum until 10 April 2012, and is organised by Gabriella Uluhogian, Boghos Levon Zekiyan and Vartan Karapetian. This event is part of the V Centenary celebration for the printing of the first book in Armenian in Venice. It winds along a chronological, thematic path leading visitors to over two hundred works including some extremely rare manuscripts and miniatures. Fabbian contributed to the Venetian exhibition with its Led projectors, Ombra and Orbis , used to light up works on walls and statues, and with a Led spotlight, Venere , used inside display cases. Fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1996 junto con el cercano monasterio de Haghpat.  El nombre Sanahin («Սանահին» en armenio) literalmente se traduce del armenio como «este es más viejo que ese», presumiblemente representando la pretensión de ser un monasterio más antiguo que el vecino Haghpat.
